By accessing or using SMO1.io, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

SMO1.io provides a URL shortening service with analytics, QR code generation, gamification features (XP and achievements), and an API. The service is available through our web application at app.smo1.io and through our REST API.

3. Use License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use SMO1.io subject to these terms. You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Create shortened links to malware, phishing sites, or harmful content
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or usage restrictions
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the service
• Use automated systems to create links in bulk without API authorization
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are involved in abusive behavior.

5. Subscription and Billing

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually). You may cancel your subscription at any time, and access to paid features will continue until the end of your current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Free tier usage is subject to the limits described on our pricing page.

6. Limitations of Liability

SMO1.io is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the reliability, availability, or accuracy of the service. In no event shall SMO1.io be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

7. Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content of the URLs you shorten and share through SMO1.io. We reserve the right to disable any shortened link that violates these terms or applicable law, without prior notice.

8. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of SMO1.io shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
